About MJC
At MJC, we’re not just a club; we’re more like a family brought together by our love for exploration and a desire to make a difference. As the Vice President and someone who’s proud to be part of this awesome community, I can honestly say that MJC is the go-to place for anyone wanting to mix their passion for off-roading with meaningful contributions to society.
We’ve got adventure in our DNA, but we’re reaching out in so many ways. We’re on a mission to turn MJC into a 501(c)(3) education-focused organization with goals that extend beyond just hitting the trails. We really believe in knowledge, safety first, and taking care of our environment. Our core values—Education, Conservation, Safety, Community, Charity, Respect, Responsibility, and Adventure—drive everything we do.
What We Do
Fundraising for Change: Through donations, raffles, and other fun fundraising activities, we support local charities that aim to boost financial access and uplift underserved communities. Every dollar counts as we work toward making real change.
Education for All: We’re super passionate about teaching our members about safety practices and environmental responsibility while highlighting why conservation matters. From hands-on workshops to expert-led talks—we provide chances for everyone to learn and grow both on the trails and off.
Conservation in Action: We proudly back TREAD LIGHTLY! Principles along with Maryland’s OHV rules because our love for nature should always come with respect for it. Our projects focus on preserving natural spaces so future generations can enjoy them just like we do.
Community Building: At MJC, community means everything to us! Whether we’re out on weekend trail runs or hosting charity events or club meetings—every get-together is an opportunity to strengthen friendships while sharing good times and creating lasting memories.
