Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Maryland’s Jeep Club! To protect our members, our mission, and you as a volunteer, please review and agree to the terms below:
Volunteer Status - I understand I am volunteering my time and skills to support Maryland’s Jeep Club and will not receive financial compensation. I agree that either I or the Club may end this volunteer relationship at any time for any reason.
Confidentiality - I agree that any non-public information I access or learn while volunteering — including but not limited to club governance, membership data, financial information, policies, and internal discussions — is confidential. I will not share, copy, or disclose this information without written permission from the Board.
Intellectual Property - I acknowledge that any materials, documents, or work I create as part of my volunteer role belong to Maryland’s Jeep Club.
Conflict of Interest & Non-Compete - I will not use confidential information gained through my volunteer work for personal benefit or to support any organization or activity that conflicts with Maryland’s Jeep Club’s mission.
Liability Waiver - I understand I am volunteering at my own risk and release Maryland’s Jeep Club, its Board, and members from liability for any injury or loss incurred while volunteering, except in cases of gross negligence.
Consent to Contact - I consent to be contacted by Maryland’s Jeep Club about volunteer opportunities, club updates, and related information.
Club Systems & Digital Assets – I understand that all Maryland’s Jeep Club accounts, systems, and digital properties — including but not limited to social media pages and groups, Meta Business Manager, websites, domains, email accounts, shared drives, member and sponsor lists, data, passwords, and administrative access — are the sole property of Maryland’s Jeep Club. Any access provided to me is for official Club purposes only. I will not claim ownership of, restrict access to, transfer, delete, duplicate, misuse, or interfere with any Club account, data, or asset, and I will not represent or bind the Club without authorization.
Return of Access – Upon request or when my volunteer role ends, I will immediately return all Club materials and credentials and relinquish any administrative or system access without retaining copies of Club data.
