Holiday Lights Parade is coming back to Urbana for year #2
Benefiting Sleep In Heavenly Peace

The route has changed (very little) in order for us to pass each other. This slight change will create a bigger viewing area for residents and create a “mini main street”. We will be setting up at Centerville Elementary School’s parking lot. In doing so, we will stay in the neighborhood

* When: Saturday, December 20
* Rain Date: Sunday, December 21
* Staging Location: Centerville Elementary – 3601 Carriage Hill Dr, Frederick, MD 21704- 7344

* Arrive anytime after 4:00 PM – If you need to get there earlier, find a parking spot to set up in.
* Parade departs at 6:00 PM
* Ending at The Urbana Lodge – Urbana Village Center, located at 3301 Worthington Blvd in Ijamsville, MD
* Registration (FREE): All Jeeps must register
* Honking = Yes
* Playing music = Yes
* Tossing ducks & candy = Yes
* Santa will be riding in style on his very own float
* Last but not least… Jessica’s 2am chocolate chip cookies will be back. Nothing like a fresh cookie.

This year like last, we are asking for donations of blankets benefiting Sleep in Heavenly Peace. These blankets brought a huge smile to the kids last year. Blankets don’t seem like a lot but they loved snuggling up with something of their very own. It’s the small things that make a huge difference in someones life. There will be a donation box to collect them at the staging location. A HUGE thank you in advance!
